What do you need to do to be a successful candidate in raising money? What does an Ingham County Commissioner do?
LANSING—The Friday Morning Podcast, a podcast hosted on Bill Ballenger’s website, www.theballengerreport.com and produced by Dennis Denno, today uploaded the latest podcast with Rebecca Bahar-Cook, the CEO of Capital Fundraising Associates.
Bahar-Cook not only is one of the top fundraisers in Michigan, but she is also an eleven-year member of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners. In this podcast, Bahar-Cook tells listeners what it takes to raise money and the projects she has been working on as Commissioner.
“Both Democrats and Republicans recognize Bahar-Cook as an exceptional fundraiser,” Ballenger said. “And most people don’t even think about what their county board does, so it was great to hear it directly from a veteran commissioner.”
The Friday Morning Podcast is free and delves into the personalities of interesting people in and around the state Capitol—what they do, what makes them tick, and the little-known aspects of their lives. The podcast will be posted on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month. The podcasts have a interview-style format with Denno as host. Each podcast is approximately 10-15 minutes long.
